Aro Hā Counselling is here to walk alongside you, supporting your healing with heart, presence, and compassion every step of the way.
Aro Hā is a gentle return home — to your breath, your wairua, and the quiet truth of who you are. Held with care and guided by aroha, it invites healing through presence and connection.

I offer a heart-led, trauma-informed, and intuitive counselling approach that honours each person’s unique journey. Grounded in aroha and deep respect for your wairua, I provide a calm and compassionate space where healing can unfold holistically and at your own pace.
Together, we gently explore your story and the challenges you’re facing, with empathy, presence, and care. My aim is to support you in reconnecting with your values, your voice, and your true self. I believe healing is deeply personal—there’s no one-size-fits-all approach—so I walk alongside you with understanding as you move toward a more authentic and meaningful life.
I am currently accepting new referrals
Tuesday: 9:30am – 3:00pm
Wednesday: 9:30am – 3:00pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Other hours and days may be available by request.

Whether this is your first time accessing counselling or you’ve been before, meeting with a new counsellor can naturally feel a little uncertain — and that’s completely okay.
Our initial session is an opportunity to begin building a trusting connection. You’re welcome to share what’s brought you to counselling, but there’s no expectation to go into anything you’re not ready to discuss.
Together, we’ll take the time to explore what support might look like for you, in a way that feels safe, respectful, and at your own pace.

I am a registered provider of ACC Sensitive Claims services and also offer counselling to private, self-paying clients. My fee is $130 (incl. GST) for a 60-minute session. Sessions are available in person or via video call, depending on what works best for you.
A limited number of reduced-fee sessions are available for those experiencing financial hardship—please don’t hesitate to ask. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
If you are accessing counselling through the ACC Sensitive Claims pathway, this website may be helpful: https://www.findsupport.co.nz/. Please let me know when booking if this is, or could be, the pathway you require.
